Last week of Nano prep. I made a list of things I'd like to research and did some research, though I'll continue through this week.
I researched the city my story takes place in--Vancouver, WA. Very valuable. I did some research on middle schools, as my main character is middle school age, 7th grade. I have many more things left to research, and will continue on through this week. This is the most advanced research I've ever done. Usually, I stop and research as the need arises. I may be a convert to this method. I feel empowered and more able to dig deep into ideas.
Prompt for this week: Continue on with research. Post a synopsis of your story idea, the kind of thing you would read on the back of a book.
